LVA Conference 2000: Show Me the Future! is the theme of the Literacy Volunteers of America, Inc. national conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri, October 4 - 7, 2000. Attendees at the conference will include representatives from the LVA network and from our partner organizations, the American Library Association, Office for Literacy and Outreach Services; the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Vocational and Adult Education; and VALUE (Voice for Adult Literacy United for Education), an adult literacy student organization. Exhibits will be located in Pershing Hall, adjacent to the hotel lobby. This area is large and will be secured during hours when the exhibits are closed. A continental breakfast will be held in Pershing Hall on Thursday, October 5. We invite your participation in advertising, exhibiting, and selling your materials.
