Sponsoring Conference 2002

Each year, corporate and individual sponsors join us in support of our national conference. They understand that the national conference is a place where adult education professionals, program managers, volunteers, and students gather to network and attend workshops on literacy issues and concerns.

Workshop tracks include: family literacy, health literacy, English for Speakers of Other Languages, technology, learning disabilities, public policy/advocacy, women's issues, and student leadership/advocacy.

Special events include:

• Opening night plenary session and reception
• Annual Banquet with keynote address by Walter Anderson, chairman, CEO, and publisher of Parade Publications
• Student Recognition Breakfast - sponsored by Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
• Exhibit Hall with coffee breaks - sponsored by New Readers Press
• Celebratory closing event - sponsored by PARADE Magazine

Corporate sponsorships are available for special events, workshop tracks, student activities, and the technology labs.

Individual sponsorships are available for the Student Scholarship Fund and the Tutor Scholarship Fund.
