Famous Amos Cookies has redesigned its website to highlight the brand's support of educational opportunities. Following the strong lead of its founder, Wally Amos, the new Famous Amos website, www.famous-amos.com, continues its connection with two non-profit educational organizations, Communities in Schools and Literacy Volunteers of America. Beginning in June, LVA will be featured in the Famous Amos donation program through a clickable icon. Each click is worth 10 cents to LVA, Inc.

On an interactive level, the new Famous Amos website includes a monthly lesson plan resource for teachers and parents, a suggestions section for sharing creative teaching or learning ideas, and a library to log all the suggestions and lesson plans through out the year.

As part of the brand's focus on cookies, there will also be a rotating section on ingredients which both adults and children will find fun and informative. The current feature is pecans - history, fun facts, and more!

Finally, don't miss the Famous Teachers Contest - an event that selects an outstanding teacher each month from entries submitted by children and their parents recognizing exceptional instructional dedication.
