Help fight adult illiteracy through
a planned gift to LVA.
"Money is important in the getting and the giving, not in the having."
Joseph J. Jacobs
As we approach the dawn of the millennium, the literacy skills needed to survive in our advanced technological society are becoming increasingly more complex. Teaching adults the basics of reading, writing and communicating in English has always been at the heart of Literacy Volunteers programs.
Providing these services in the future will require vigilance and a continuing effort. LVA volunteer tutoring programs throughout the country open doors to better personal lives, improved job opportunities and create more responsible and contributing citizens.
You can help ensure that tomorrows citizens have access to quality literacy instruction through a planned gift to LVA. Your support can take many forms: bequests, life insurance, appreciated securities (property or stocks), and more...
