ProLiteracy Worldwide works with a global network of 125 partners in 65 developing countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. ProLiteracy provides training, direct grants, technical assistance and conferences to highly effective, local literacy and development organizations in 1179 communities.

With ProLiteracy's support, these independent partner programs teach adults and families in communities of greatest need to access literacy-based practices and information to meet basic needs, solve daily-life problems, take advantage of local resources, and transform their communities. Our partner organizations generate solutions to societal problems such as poverty, violence, injustice, hunger, and disease. Through a unique literacy methodology that combines learning and community action, ProLiteracy and its partners help change the world person by person, family by family, community by community.
