Accreditation

Dear Program Director,
We are excited and pleased to introduce ProLiteracy America's revised Accreditation Service. An exceptional group of your colleagues developed this latest version of the accreditation system. It is a key part of ProLiteracy's program improvement and capacity building efforts. This group used the experiences gained from the previous four years to develop a stronger, flexible, more economical, and streamlined process that we believe will continue to move us forward.

We strongly urge you to review these materials, discuss them with your board or advisory group, and then make the commitment to participate in the process. For those of you whose organizations are already accredited, we hope you will maintain your accreditation and formally enter this new process approximately one year prior to the expiration of your current accredited status.

Feel free to e-mail us with any questions you may have at accreditation@proliteracy.org or call Mark Cass, accreditation coordinator, at (315) 422-9121 ext. 313.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of this important effort. More importantly, thanks for your commitment and desire to provide the highest quality services to your students and your community.

Sincerely, Peter A. Waite
Executive Director
ProLiteracy America
