Registration fees for Nashville '99 are as follows:

Full registration includes:
all workshops (Pre-Conference extra, as listed above), all general sessions,
five meal functions (Wednesday dessert reception,
Thursday student breakfast,
Thursday annual banquet, Friday luncheon and
Saturday closing brunch), and canvas bag with conference materials.
Daily fee includes meal functions for that day and all sessions and
workshops for that day.

Entertainment
On Friday evening conference attendees will be
given the opportunity of exploring downtown Nashville on their own.
NashvilleREAD will provide attendees with suggestions for shopping, dining, and music
listening opportunities that will be listed by category and cost
(i.e., country, jazz, theme restaurants, etc.).
A shuttle bus will be available that will leave the hotel starting at six and
make round trips until ten pm. The cost of the bus is ten dollars for the
round trip.
Lodging:
The Sheraton Music City Hotel is the host hotel of Nashville '99: Hitting the high
notes of literacy. As of 10/21/99, both the Sheraton Music
City Hotel and the Embassy Suites Hotel are full. Arrangements
for a second overflow
hotel have been made: The Nashville Marriott, 600 Marriott Drive (near
the Embassy Suites).
Reservations can be
made by calling (615) 889-9300. The special conference rate at the
Homewood Suites is $115 and is subject to applicable taxes.
The airport is 5 minutes away, and
taxi service and a free shuttle are available.
Airline:
US Airways is the Carrier of Choice for Nashville '99: Hitting the high
notes of literacy. US Airways is the first air carrier ever to become a naming
sponsor of an LVA project. In partnering with LVA, the airline announces that it
will provide discounted tickets for attendees of the conference. US Airways will also provide several open ended tickets for a student raffle
which supports adult learners' attendance at conference.
